Dead Horses

The Patriots played "Brady-esque", as Matt Cassel, in his best game yet threw three touchdown passes, and Sammy Morris ran for 138 yards as The Pats killed the Broncos 41-7.
On defense, they forced five turnovers. And on special teams, Wes Welker's 44-yard punt return set up a Randy Moss touchdown catch.

New England (4-2) finished with 257 yards rushing - the most rushing yards since week 17 of the 1993 season!! Against the NFL's most pathetic pass defense, Moss' two touchdowns doubled his total for the season. New England led 20-0 at halftime and 34-0 before former Patriot wash up
Daniel Graham caught a useless 10-yard touchdown pass for the Horsies with 13:21 left in the game.

Rookie
BenJarvus Green-Ellis - by far the best football name since "He Hate Me" finished the scoring with his first touchdown on a 1-yard run. Cassel was sacked six times and looked like he had a piano on his back. The Patriots lost Morris and safety Rodney Harrison to injuries. But the Patriots really embarrassed the pathetic Denver Horsies with their stellar running game. With Maroney and Jordan out, Morris beat his career high for yards on just 16 carries, including a 4-yard score, all in the first half. Green-Ellis took over after that and rushed for 65 yards on 13 carries.
seconds left in the half.
Cassel's six sacks brought the Patriots total to 26 for the season. They were sacked 21 times all last season.
