Daaaaaaaaa Bears!

Interesting story out of New York. Seems that fat ass Rex Ryan has a supersticious side to him...
...Ryan led his team outside of their Florham Park facilities yesterday morning where he buried a game ball from Monday night's ASS WHOOPING his team took from the Pats....saying its "time to put this game behind us". Yeah, now they can concentrate on getting beat by the Dolphins Sunday!
Meanwhile, calls are being made to Chicago for someone to get Lovie Smith a fucking shovel......

Pats Open Can Of "Big Mac Attack" On Jets

Big Mac Attack! Rexy Ryan almost went into convulsions last night after the Pats handed his team a 45-3 thrashing. He had downed the full pre game buffet and after the game there was no Mcdonalds in town with Big Mac's to fill his urge because behind the scene's he bought them all up before the game and was in a full panic at the half being down 24-3 he downed all 46 Big Mac's he bought. The fat bastard stormed out of the parking lot at Foxboro and Jeted (pun intended) across route 1 and hijacked steak tips from a stunned Pats fan, ran off without even handing the guy any dough and split down route 1. saying you guys handed Sanchez his lunch so I'm stealing yours. What a F'n stiff!!!!

No Food Left At Patriot Place

Rex Ryan and his NY Jets arrived in Foxboro this evening. Ryan got off the bus and bolted directly towards Red Robin where he was seen scoffing down two Super Burgers. After that he "food hopped" through CBS Scene, Davios, and Skipjacks. The establishments are concerned whether they will be able to stock up on food for the Pats fans who wish to dine before the game tomorrow. Meanwhile, Ryan, seen here in the Jets locker room was quoted as saying he was still hungry. Establishments along Rooute 1 were called and warned of impending Ryan visits this evening. Pats fans will be watching tomorrow night for Ryan's 64" waist to explode as the Pats go up by two scores early. Says Ryan...." I just know that here, I am always close to a double with mushrooms and cheese, if need be."

Lewis Joins NFL Elite Of Players Who Whine Like Pussies..

WAH WAH WAH. Shut your piehole convict! Ray Lewis has decided to whine about the Ravens loss to the Pats yesterday blaming the officials for the soft roughing the passer calling. The fact of the matter is...the refs made the calls the way they were written. The NFL wants the QB's protected, and hence the "Brady" rule was instituted. Of course its all for marketing purposes.

Yes, there are those who say Brady was "politicking" to the refs for calls, but who cares. Listen up Ray ....MAN UP.....here are some of the MANY reasons your team lost yesterday

1. You fumbled the opening kickoff.....giving us 3 points
2. Your coach was SO outcoached by ours....wasting that time out before the half,....which could of gotten you the ball back
3. your butterfinger receiver Mark Clayton misses an easy catch which could of set you up to score late in the fourth. So Shut it!

Kerry Rhodes and Kris Jenkins Graduate From Joey Porter School of Verbal Diarrhea

The Joey Porter School of Verbal Diarrhea today announced its recent graduates, Kris Jenkins and Kerry Rhodes of the NFL's New York Jokes. Both graduated with 4.0 honors.
Kris Jenkins called the game Sunday against the NE Patriots the Jets' "Super Bowl" and on Wednesday, free safety Kerry Rhodes said he wanted to "embarrass" the Patriots.
On Pats superstar QB Tom Brady, Rhodes said "We will hit him more than six times. I promise you that. ” "You go out from the first quarter on, from the first play on, and try to embarrass them," "Not just go out there and try to win, try to embarrass them. Try to make them feel bad when they leave here. We don't want to just beat them. We want to send a message to them, 'We're not backing down from you and we expect to win this game, and it's not going to be luck, it's not going to be a mistake."
Rhodes needed several towels to wipe the shit from his chin.

Rhodes insisted the Jets "won't play dirty" but that Brady will be vulnerable. "I'm sure if somebody is around his leg, or he feels pressure below, he's not going to step into his throw," Rhodes said, according to the Daily News. "Any quarterback can be rattled," Rhodes said, according to the newspaper. "He's one of the best, don't get me wrong. That's evident.
In remarks to reporters on Wednesday, Tom Brady he wasn't phased by the diarrhea and that "talk is cheap."
Yadda Yadda Yadda. Haven't any of you opposite team players learned ANYTHING by now? This crap just throws logs on the fire. Keep it up! Throw these two idiots on the heap with the other loud mouths in the league. The Pats do their talking on the field, and will now speak loudly come Sunday in New Jersey.
Pieces of information from ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss and The Associated Press was used in this report with humor added by Hanzyboy.

Holy Crap I Think I Shit My Pants!!

58 minutes of pretty much crap, then 2 minutes of pure adrenalin rush and excitement! The Pats pulled it out tonight! Absolutely the most amazing finish I think since Super Bowl XXXVI. it took us 3 quarters to figure out that the Bills defense was non-existant in the middle of the field and Brady picked them apart, ending with a rally by throwing 2 TD passes to TE Ben Watson in the final 2:06. Moss and Welker had 12 receptions each, a new record.

...And with 45 seconds left, the pats D was DOMINANT, knocking Trent Edwards on his ass twice. I do want to comment on the SHAMEFUL exodus of 100's of Pats fans with only 11 minutes left and us down by only 11 points. shame on you all. But who cares.................I need to go change my shorts!

Pats Go Nostalgic

Ah, how as fans of the gridorin we just love to nostalgic. We love the past. Its all we talk about especially when things are going badly for our teams.
This week the Patriots waded into the waters of La Jolla beach to pull LB Junior Seau off his surfboard and had him towel off with his old number 55 Pat's Jersey. He was SOLD ! Signed today to help fill a very battered LB core on the team, and put a boost in morale as the 12 time pro bowler can only do.
Earlier in the week, LB Rosevelt Colvin was happy living in Houston. He got his kids ready for school everyday and was the doting husband. All that changed at the local UPS store when the Pats plucked another old veteran out of society and signed Colvin back to the team. The nine year veteran, also another fan favorite will travel with Seau and the team to Seattle this weekend when they punish the Seahawks.
Who knows what their roles will be, but with Adalius Thomas (broken forearm) gone for the season and Pierre Woods (jaw) out for Sunday's, Colvin could get a starting nod outside. Seau will most likely be behind rookie Jerod Mayo and veteran Tedy Bruschi inside. Will he see more action than rookie backup Gary Guyton? Count on head coach Bill Belichick to utilize their skills if they can shake the rust off.
Later in the day today, the Patriots announced the remaining schedule for the rest of the regular season of nostalgic recruiting: Below is a list of players and their present positions that are on cue to return.
Week 13
Troy Brown - Wide Receiver -
Fred Smerlas - Nose Tackle - Sports Radio Host
Tony Eason - Quarterback
Week 14
Mosi Tatupu - Linebacker -
Stanley Morgan - Wide Receiver
Bruce Armstrong - O Tackle
Week 15
Gino Cappeletti - Kicker

A New Bitter Rivalry Is Formed !!

‘We don’t like them. They don’t like us. That’s exactly the way you should like it.’ Joey Porter said Saturday night about facing The New England Patriots.........ahhhh, how sweet revenge.
Porter, the man I love and hate at the same time made this comment last night before the thrashing the Pats put on his Dolphins.

To heck with the Jets rivalry, the Pats - Miami rivalry was turned up 8 notches today. Factoring in to the heating of the rivalry is probably the fact that no one expected the Pat's to do squat without Brady, and of course, no one ever expects the Fins to do anything.......but there they sat both teams 6-4........shocking! In a game that could decide the Wild Card a new ugly rivalry was born. It's apparent that maybe since Joey Porter started his trash talking about the Pats, the ugliness escalated. The Pats came out on top generating over 500 yards on offense and winning by the score of 48-28.

Late in the game Miami linebacker Channing Crowder and New England tackle Matt Light were ejected. Crowder lost his helmet when blocked by Light on a field-goal attempt and shoved Light, who responded by taking several swings at Crowder's head."It looked like a lack of poise," Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said.

With less than three minutes left, MY MAN! Miami's
Joey Porter was penalized for a personal foul and unsportsmanlike conduct.
The Pats rebounded from an overtime loss to the Jets on Nov. 13. Since the start of the 2003 season, the Patriots are 17-1 in games following a loss.
The Pats opened things up with an extensive use of the spread offense and surprised Miami. The Dolphins' Wildcat formation was shut out after producing four touchdowns in six plays when they won at Foxborough in September. This time the Dolphins snapped directly to running back Ronnie Brown eight times, and the plays netted 25 yards."Having some time to prepare for it definitely helped," Belichick said

HORSE MOUTH AT IT AGAIN!

Joey Porter. The man I hate, yet in the same breath think is hilarious....
He guaranteed 16 victories last season. He was right once, and wrong the other 15.
And this week, at Week 11, I am shocked at what has played out in the AFC East standings. I thought the fins would be looking for their 3rd win, and I would be a few more losses closer to a seat upgrade. Go figure......
This season’s Dolphins and Patriots are 6-4. This season’s Joey Porter is playing like a defensive player of the year. He is louder, and even more obnoxious than ever before.
Last season just pissed Joey off so much that he is trash talking even more this season.
He recently spewed verbal diarrhea to the fact that that the Patriots were terrible with Matt Cassel. He has said before that he wonders why Brandon Marshall was allowed to play after getting arrested. He can't believe why Matt Jones wasn’t suspended.
Now he’s talking about how much he hates the Patriots and how badly he was disrespected because at the game at Gillette earlier this year, someone punted a ball over his head when he was trying to stretch before their game.
I say let Joey Porter talk. All it does is motivate the Patriots. He’s been spewing his crum for years. Belichick doesn’t need to even lower himself and comment on Joey. Just line the locker room with many of his useless quotes!
I have to admit, he is having a great season. No doubt about it. But as I have said on many posts before (he is my number one post topic)...he needs to shut up. His team is winning. Sunday is the biggest game they’ve played this year. He should be getting his team ready, instead he’s motivating the Patriots by talking trash.Trust me, our Pats are prime for his crap. Joey should thank his lucky stars that he is still allowed to play this year after his brutal attack on Levi Jones last year.
The Patriots, with Matt Casell as quarterback, should win this weekend. Think that’ll shut Porter up? You have GOT to be kidding!

STRANGE SIMILARITIES ??

Now, before you go and accuse me of crowning Matt Cassel the NEXT Tom Brady, let me explain. That's why I title the post "Strange Similarities". Cuz it's getting strange...

Yesterday Matt had and impressive game and win over the struggling Buffalo Bills......except for the one fumble, he had a solid and impressive game with no picks thrown.

By the way, thanks to the 1000's of Bills fans who came to Gillette yesterday to enjoy some NE style tailgating and our fine stadium..........It was cool to see the support they have and the throngs of them who showed up for the shellacking. They were fun to meet and very classy......great fans......great to meet the ones I did.....A long ride back to Buffalo I'm sure....

After watching the first nine games, it appears to me that Matt is adjusting and improving. Many on sports radio after the game were calling in to say its just a product of the "system".....that you could plug my 16 year old son in there, and he would be excelling just the same..........poppycock!!! Cassel is growing as a player, learning from his errors, and frankly, becoming better. Look at the numbers of him and Brady in their first nine games.........please....it took me an hour to dig up and add the figures !!! ....except for the touchdown passes its "Strangely Similar"....

Brady - 173-260 66% 7 picks 16 TD's 1823 yards

Cassel - 156-233 66% 7 picks 7 TD's 1566 yards

The numbers don't lie. Granted Brady had two stellar games against New Orleans where he threw 4 TD's and the stinker in Denver where he through 4 picks in one game. My point is that all the Cassel bashers can calm down a bit.

Thursday will be the biggest test of all when we play our second game in four short days against Crybaby Brett Favvvvvvvv-re and the J-E-T-S. Pats 27 Jets 24

GAFFNEY TO HAVE HAND REPLACEMENT SURGERY

The Pats lose to the Colts 18-15. Where can we point the finger?
Reports out of Foxboro say that wide receiver Jabar Gaffney will have his hands replaced after not catching an easy 39-yard touchdown pass at the 6-yard line that would of given the Pats the lead, and put them closer to victory. Cynics however may argue that the pass from Matt Cassel simply "hit him in the WRONG part of the hands!!"
"I dropped it," said Gaffney. "He made a good throw. I dropped it. I don't make any excuses. It hit my hands. I should have caught it."Way ta go dilbert! You get the Flubber award of the week!

Rams Still Trying To Win Last Sunday's Game

The Patriots were assessed ZERO penalties in Sunday's win over the Rams. Evidentally, the Rams are sending a videotape to the NFL's offices, highlighting plays the team believes should have resulted in penalties against the Patriots on Sunday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Reports out of St. Louis say that since the team can't win on their own, they are looking for new and unique ways to whine, and cry. What, ...do they think Roger Godell will overturn the win? Get Real !!

"Never ever, ever, ever played a perfect team before," Rams guard Richie Incognito said about the disparity, according to the report. "That's all I am going to say on that one." Maybe you should stay "Incognito", Richie.............Cuz THAT was a stupid statement!! Do the Rams practice making penalties every week, or do teams practice to play mistake free football?? Is it at all possible the Patriots didn't make any mistakes?
During the game, the Rams were flagged 12 times (with three penalties declined) for 63 yards; the Patriots were flagged once, with the Rams declining that penalty.
The Post-Dispatch reported that Haslett pointed out three plays he believed should have resulted in personal fouls against the Patriots: a grab of quarterback Marc Bulger's face mask; a late hit on Bulger; and an out-of-bounds hit on cornerback Fakhir Brown following an interception.
Is that our fault, or the fault of perhaps POOR officiating??..................gee, that never happens in the NFL................There's NO crying in football!!!

Send a Message to Tom !

Dead Horses

The Patriots played "Brady-esque", as Matt Cassel, in his best game yet threw three touchdown passes, and Sammy Morris ran for 138 yards as The Pats killed the Broncos 41-7.
On defense, they forced five turnovers. And on special teams, Wes Welker's 44-yard punt return set up a Randy Moss touchdown catch.

New England (4-2) finished with 257 yards rushing - the most rushing yards since week 17 of the 1993 season!! Against the NFL's most pathetic pass defense, Moss' two touchdowns doubled his total for the season. New England led 20-0 at halftime and 34-0 before former Patriot wash up
Daniel Graham caught a useless 10-yard touchdown pass for the Horsies with 13:21 left in the game.

Rookie
BenJarvus Green-Ellis - by far the best football name since "He Hate Me" finished the scoring with his first touchdown on a 1-yard run. Cassel was sacked six times and looked like he had a piano on his back. The Patriots lost Morris and safety Rodney Harrison to injuries. But the Patriots really embarrassed the pathetic Denver Horsies with their stellar running game. With Maroney and Jordan out, Morris beat his career high for yards on just 16 carries, including a 4-yard score, all in the first half. Green-Ellis took over after that and rushed for 65 yards on 13 carries.
seconds left in the half.
Cassel's six sacks brought the Patriots total to 26 for the season. They were sacked 21 times all last season.

JABBERJAWS

Just LOOK at the SIZE of that mouth for god's sake! And all it does is spew verbal diarrhea!! All the Pats have done over the years Joey, is basically KICKED YOUR TEAM'S ASS!! Now because you probably "love the game" so much you run for the money to Miami to one of the worst teams in the league. Maybe you and Miami's new saviour Chad Pennington ( JOKE!) think you can roll into our house and beat the Pats? Great job last week in Arizona. Look for Randy Moss to have a BANNER day. Any one reading this post CAN'T name ONE of your teammates in Miami's secondary cuz they SUCK. Shut your trap!

Deja Vu ??

.....And so today, the Matt Cassell era begins. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. I have two theories or brilliant guesses about todays game. He's either gonna lay up a stinker, or throw for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. As the die hard I am, I am throwing all my hope and faith at our coach, not our backup QB. BB obviously saw something in this guy. Just as he did when he drafted the irrelevant Tom Brady in the sixth round. So, after making shapes on the ceiling all night, I actually feel confident that we can make this a game and win it. Keep the faith PN. The J E T S are a better team this year, but let's not get carried away here. They barely beat the 'phins last week. Strap up.............Let's play!
